There are 5 Horticultural Societies in Lanark County and they are the best deals in town. Annual membership is very low (in the $10-15 range). For that small fee, you get to hear an excellent speaker most months, participate in flower shows,attend garden tours, some for free and many provide a discount on plant purchases at local garden centres.
